INFINITIX Partners with Dell Technologies Group to Launch AI One-Stop Solution
Reprinted from CIO Taiwan
Despite AI algorithms being easily accessible, building an AI platform is challenging and time-consuming for businesses. The AI one-stop solution launched by INFINITIX in collaboration with Dell Technologies combines the strengths of both products, accelerating AI project implementation and giving businesses a competitive edge in their digital transformation journey.
As AI algorithms mature and become open-source, combined with the soaring processing power of GPUs, more and more businesses are integrating AI into their operations, such as in smart factories and smart healthcare, to enhance operational efficiency and improve competitiveness. Recognizing that initiating AI projects is not easy, and building the AI environment in the early stages is challenging, INFINITIX has partnered with Dell Technologies to load its AI-Stack onto Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, providing businesses with a one-stop solution to lower the threshold for AI project implementation.
INFINITIX CEO, Wen-Yu Chen, stated that the AI-Stack developed in-house can meet the needs of businesses exploring AI applications and accelerate AI project initiation. Dell EMC PowerEdge servers are known for their quality and reliability, and Dell Technologies can also provide flexible customization services based on customer needs, making them an essential partner. In the first phase, we will ship with Dell EMC PowerEdge R750xa and PowerEdge XE8545 servers, and we plan to verify more Dell EMC PowerEdge servers in the future.
The Dell EMC PowerEdge XE8545 is a 4U rack server with dual slots, four NVIDIA A100 GPUs, and optimized performance through AI-Stack software. Meanwhile, the Dell EMC PowerEdge R750xa server features the third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor and supports up to four dual-slot GPUs and six single-slot GPUs.
As AI becomes a dominant field, AI projects have become a key component in businesses’ digital transformation strategies. However, to realize the expected outcomes, companies must overcome various challenges. According to INFINITIX, when AI research teams manage their own AI servers, they face issues such as 'GPU resources being unisolated, unknowingly occupying others' resources,' 'the need to learn Docker commands and manage both software and hardware environments independently,' and 'teams using different AI application frameworks, leading to redundant downloads and wasted resources.' If the IT department manages the AI servers, similar problems arise, including 'complex user demands, disorganized management,' 'urgent demands disrupting schedules,' and 'poor resource visibility and opacity in remaining resources.'
Wen-Yu Chen, CEO of INFINITIX, stated that the company’s AI-Stack is a solution designed to help businesses build self-sufficient, controllable, shareable, and horizontally scalable private cloud AI computing environments. It accelerates AI deployment and meets the full lifecycle of AI DevOps, earning widespread recognition from users. This tool provides GPU and AI process automation mechanisms, allowing both IT and project teams to create AI computing resource pools with high resource efficiency and effectiveness while reducing maintenance, adjustment, and deployment time.
According to INFINITIX statistics, businesses using AI-Stack can complete POC testing in just two weeks, with 40% of them opting for AI-Stack. After adopting AI-Stack, companies benefit from 'efficient resource allocation, quickly delivering GPU computing power to users,' 'enhanced self-service capabilities for users, reducing daily operational burdens for managers,' and 'GPU sharing, which significantly improves GPU utilization,' all of which help accelerate AI project implementation.
With its stability, reliability, and positive feedback from enterprises, INFINITIX’s AI-Stack, combined with Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, offers the best one-stop AI solution for businesses building AI platforms.
