AICC

The “Asian AI Computing Alliance AICC Launch Press Conference” held on July 26 officially announced the launch of AICC, a premier intelligent computing center in Asia equipped with the most advanced H200 accelerator computing chips. This project marks a significant step forward for Taiwan in the field of artificial intelligence and will substantially enhance Taiwan’s position in global AI technology competition. The event garnered widespread attention from government officials, industry leaders, and media.

Chang Ming-pin, Director of Investment Promotion Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Wang Hong-rong, Deputy Director of Economic Development Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government, and Legislator Cheng Cheng-chien attended the event, demonstrating the government’s high regard for this project. From the industry side, Charles Liang, co-founder of Supermicro, Wenyu Chen, CEO of INFINITIX, Yen-Hung Wu, Chairman of Chief Telecom, Wei-Cheng Lee, General Manager of Besta, and Ting Chun-hung, CEO of VMFIVE, along with many strategic partners and AI startups, participated in the signing ceremony, highlighting the strong industry support and significance of AICC’s development.

AICC will deploy 256 warm-water cooled GPU servers equipped with the most advanced H200 computing accelerator chips, becoming Asia’s leading AI computing center. ENLight announced strategic partnerships with Supermicro, INFINITIX, and Chief Telecom, where Supermicro will provide warm-water cooled H200 GPU servers, INFINITIX will provide AI infrastructure management and computing resource scheduling platform AI-Stack along with platform operation services, and Chief Telecom will provide top-tier data center and network facilities.

The management system and computing resource allocation of ENLight’s AICC will utilize INFINITIX’s AI-Stack, leveraging its third-generation GPU chip management technology to maximize GPU performance. The construction project is expected to be completed and operational by the fourth quarter of this year. Once operational, AICC will provide powerful computing support for various industries, promoting the practical application of AI technology. The cooling system of the entire computing center adopts a direct warm-water cooling system, significantly reducing the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) to 1.09, effectively saving energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions, contributing to Taiwan’s and Earth’s sustainability efforts.

As Taiwan’s only NVIDIA Preferred Solution Advisor, INFINITIX has demonstrated outstanding performance in AI chip GPU resource scheduling and AI platform development. Through professional software technology, it provides optimal GPU resource scheduling solutions for AICC, ensuring maximum system performance. The intelligent computing center will be located in Neihu, Taipei. Notably, AICC will specifically provide public welfare computing resources to benefit Taiwan, such as reserving certain computing capacity in cooperation with Kaohsiung City Government to accelerate AI applications for the government, local enterprises, Asia New Bay Area companies, and startups, demonstrating its commitment to balanced regional development.

The establishment of AICC is expected to have profound impacts across multiple industries, including government, semiconductor, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. By providing world-class computing capabilities, AICC will help attract more international cooperation and drive the realization of more innovative projects, creating new growth points for Taiwan’s economy and marking an important step toward realizing the AI Taiwan vision. With strong government support and industry collaboration, there is confidence in building AICC into Asia’s premier intelligent computing center, helping Taiwan secure a leading position in global AI technology competition.
